Chew Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Care Practice Nurse to lead our team of nurses and healthcare assistants whilst at the same time working as part of the senior management team alongside the Partners.
We are committed to providing accessible, high-quality care to our 10,500 patients, working from a purpose-built surgery situated in the heart of the beautiful Chew Valley. We are conveniently only 13 miles from Bristol and Bath, both of which are easily commutable. We consistently score excellently on patient satisfaction surveys and all clinical indicators.
We aim to be at the forefront of modern general practice, offering a wide range of services and facilities conveniently located for most of our patients. As a rural practice, we recognise the importance of local provision, and it is our intention whenever possible to bring opportunities for treatment, awareness and support into our community. Our patients have excellent access with generally short wait times.
We enjoy our morning coffee break and lunch together, often with cake, which allows us to support each other, problem solve or simply chat about last night’s TV.
The successful candidate will be clinically involved in all aspects of Primary Care nursing. Experience of chronic disease management, to include diabetes and/or respiratory, would be highly desirable. Alongside line managing the nursing team you would be part of a strong senior management team supporting the practice management in reviewing and delivery of clinical policies and procedures.
